Let’s play!

Autor: Emilie Foster

Adults are often reluctant to use games during language lessons. They can in fact feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Adult-students regard fun activities as being less productive and unhelpful in the learning process, but teachers actually consider them as amongst the best tools for language learning. To avoid problems and barriers that impede students’ learning, it’s a good idea to use board games. These types of games are used in the everyday life of both young people and adults, and for this reason, they are easy to relate to. The teacher explains how to play and asks the players to respect the rules, thereby ensuring the lessons are fun and well-structured. So… let’s play!
