From birth we are programmed to make sense of the world around us by using visual input. This is why using visual materials lie at the heart of so much effective and memorable teaching. This practical session uses ELI’s Illustrated Picture Dictionary and Photocards to look at lots of ways use images on their own to teach and practise grammar, vocabulary and skills work, or to add them alongside your existing material.
